is the seed of life
We chose the geometrical pattern of the seed of life because of what it represents; the beginning of all creation and change. It also comprises the center of another pattern, the flower of life.
The Flower of Life is indelibly etched on the walls of temple of the Osirion at Abydos, Egypt, the Flower of Life contains a vast Akashic system of information (everything that ever was, is and will be), including templates for the five Platonic Solids.
These are ancient geometrical patterns from which all life, from the microcosm of a cell to macrocosm of a galaxy, originates. There is no simple way to define sacred geometry. Here are a few ideas to help grasp the concept. From the Labyrinth Society:
- Sacred geometry is the contemplation and utilization of the archetypal geometric patterns of Nature for the purposes of spiritual communion and healing.
- "Sacred geometry is the act of studying the divine act of creation and then using that knowledge to create in the same way. By studying nature, we find that the basic building blocks of creation are geometric. Since a divine hand is responsible for originating the numbers and proportions of the manifest universe, that geometry is sacred. Studying sacred geometry leads us to truth and self-understanding. All societies use sacred geometry to construct their temples, sacred places, and art.
- "The use of a handful of ratios to create forms that help the seeker to resonate properly to achieve their desired spiritual goal."
When geometry is studied, we can see the ancient truth that all life emerges from the same blueprint. If you look at nature and creation from a fertilized human embryo, a flower or shell’s pattern, a swirling cosmos you will see patterns, spirals, and ratios of the same proportions.
Viewing these sacred patterns, awakens knowledge and energy within ourselves.
Seed of Life
The flower of life (from which the seed of life emerges) contains the knowledge of all life, and serves as a metaphor to illustrate the connectedness of all life and spirit within the universe.
At its core is the seed of life. The seed of life is a key to understanding the expansion of new energy, information, and light as it enters consciousness. The site of this visual pattern stimulates the pineal gland, which holds ancient memories of our origins and purpose.
All change has at its beginning, a seed…an initial thought or notion that precedes some action that affects a shift in the present set of manifesting circumstances.
Our desire is that the seed of life will awaken all of us to new expanded understandings of our purpose, contributions, and healing power.
